About this Learning Startup:
The idea behind this startup is to give working knowledge to those who want to get into Cloud and DevOps.
In my 14 years of experience, I've found people become capable if they are mentored properly.
There are only three major issues where people struggle:
Have no idea where to begin studying software or technology.
Despite having information, they lack practical skills or experience.
Not being able to find the relevant information in the usual technology or software documentation
I did all three by myself. Learning by doing and figuring things out took a long time. Eventually, I made myself comfortable with how to work on any software, especially with the DevOps toolchain. When I found the same struggles in my teammate, I started mentoring my team members, both junior and senior non-technical members. The feedback was really good. Over the last few years, my juniors have worked independently alongside me.
Based on this experience, I began running weekend batches in January 2021 to teach and mentor people interested in cloud computing and DevOps. The response was good. In April 2022, I left my corporate job and started as a freelance trainer. In a short time, I bootstrapped my learning startup in October 2022.
I have now worked with multiple training institutes and corporations to deliver DevOps and cloud training.
In Brief about me:
14+ years of extensive hands-on multi-domain experience (Telecom, finance) in developing DevOps culture, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD automation
delivered CI/CD on multiple clouds such as AWS, GCP, and others, as well as the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud.
implemented open-source tools (community editions) like GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, SonarQube, etc., keeping them secure and compliant.
created a CI/CD pipeline for multiple microservices applications using managed Kubernetes solutions like GKE, EKS, etc., and GitLab CI.
implemented the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) to track and monitor software/product requirements in an agile (Scrum, Kanban) way.
used monitoring tools like Zabbix and ELK as part of the SRE approach.
